Design Space

  1. Upload each SVG. Don’t resize, because pieces are true size on a 12 × 12 canvas.
  2. Score lines are one red path. After import, ungroup, set the red layer Operation to Score, select it with the cut shapes, and Attach.
  3. Use Medium Cardstock (80 lb) or Light (65 lb), and Vellum for 08-vellum. Use Intricate Cut for 04-gold.

Quick assembly

  1. Score and fold the walls. Glue the vellum behind the openings. Glue the window displays (tree, star, gifts, teddy) to the inside of the ground-floor vellum. Glue the cream surrounds and frames on the outside.
  2. Join the two wall pieces with their end tabs to make a 6.5 × 3.5 in box.
  3. Fold the snowy roof’s parapet up. Fold the wall top tabs in and drop the roof onto them.
  4. Glue the tower front to the top of the front wall so its lower 0.25 in sits behind the cream cornice. Glue the brace to the back of the tower, with its foot on the roof.
  5. Glue the green plaque and the gold wordmark onto the tower. Add the dome drum, the dome, its snow cap and the gold finial.
  6. Glue the cream cornice and frieze bands on, then the snow strips. Add the garland with its gold lights, the wreaths with red bows between the upper arches, and the door wreath.
  7. Fold each awning flap and glue it above its window. Add snow on the awnings.
  8. Glue the building onto the snowy base and add the snow drifts.
